My first interview translation for the holidays!! Hope to bring you more in the next weeks :D

KENKI YAMAGUCHI and RYO MITSUYA
The two who acted together in the musical “Nintama Rantaro”. From each others blog entries and more they show that they are especially good friends. With those two the tension will definitely rise! So they challenged GOOD COME’s famous project, the compatibility diagnosis. How was the result of the diagnosis?!
Y: Because we knew each other before the formation of D2 and are companions who are always together, we had confidence in this compatibility diagnosis right?
M: Yes. And it was a good occasion to see what we were thinking of each other in a new light. But one thing that surprised me was, when Kenki expressed me with one character, it was “beauty”. Somehow I was happy.
Y: On the other side, I was only “monkey” (laugh). Well, that might be as well. I always get told that I’m monkey-ish (laugh). What is the “emotion” that Micchi wrote as expected answer?
M: That I’m very sensitive or that I’m carrying a heart with thankfulness or such, I thought I’d be happy if I get told something like that.
Y: I see~
M: But it was almost correct or a near-miss, right. We also matched in what we wanted to do to each other.
Y: Because until now, the time together was long and we talk about anything.
M: When we did the musical “nintama rantaro”, we weren’t only together at the rehearsal but also went to Kenki’s home. Because we were acting classmates, we were thinking about the background of the companion roles and such. The only time when we weren’t together was in our dreams (laugh).
Y: I often dream that we go to karaoke together. Maybe because we usually went together often.
M: I see! When a stage play is going to start soon, I often dream about making mistakes in the play, what about Kenki?
Y: I don’t dream that. Because I’m positive. But I often say “It’s okay!!” right? Without thinking (laugh).

Y: Because I also let it show when I’m troubled with acting.
M: Because Kenki is usually cheerful, such times are easy to tell.
Y: But because the companions are following, the surrounding people are helping out, it often gets solved. D2 are kinda like ‘one for all, all for one’, not? That’s why Micchi is also a presence that has to be there, I think.
M: In between where Kenki and Tsuru-chan (Kamitsuru Toru) were, I joined. Even long before D2 was formed we had lessons together, so I also can’t think of a D2 without Kenki.
Y: Especially because we acted together in “nintama”, I think that I can show my undecorated self. It got something natural to be together right?
M: Yes! Being together got so natural that it has the feeling of a married couple, I think.

M: Ah, I can’t really find the right words (laugh). By the way, within D2 Kenki is beloved by the kids and like a helpful big brother.
Y: Micchi is a person who gets teased. His reactions are big so he gets teased a lot. Somehow like the youngest child. Although there are a lot of members who are younger (laugh).
M: Yes! I get teased a lot! Furthermore, when I’m together with Kenki, he gets S. At first I was surprised. When we were playing games, I thought “Oh, his face is different to the time when we’re together with the members.”
Y: I don’t think that I’m that S, but with Micchi I just want to tease him ♪ That I show even such a side, means that we’re good friends (laugh).

“It’ll be okay!” said the two full of confidence and answered the 8 questions about the first meeting until now and about what will come from now on.

MI~KA~TA!* (laugh)” Y “I remember that I sang Supernova or EXILE or Chemistry or so.” M “Kenki is really good at singing♥ Please release a CD! (laugh)” Y “Then I want to do a collaboration with Micchi’s unicycle!” such a dream is developing.

M: Good at singing, bright and kind smile. / Cheerfulness.
Y: Cuteness, spontaneity. / Cheerfulness, maybe spontaneity.
M “Oh? Not very matching?” Y “Eh? Above is what Micchi likes about me right? Isn’t it strange?” the first time that the two answers to the question don’t match. M “Ah, I forgot to include cheerful! Kenki Genki!* although he is the owner of this name! Thank you! ….See, isn’t a monkey passionate!? It’s a compliment!” Y “Well…” without agreeing (laugh).

M: Seems that he doesn’t think anything but to be honest he is thinking about his companions by 328
Y: To tell the truth, he is deceiving his age.
Yamaguchi who sees the answer of Mitsuya said “Why do you write something so good~?” M “A monkey is also thinking about his companions!” Y “Don’t conclude from a monkey! (laugh)” M “Rather say, what do you mean with deceiving the age!?” Y “Because you don’t look appropriate for your age, it’s actually more a suspicion than a secret (laugh).” M “Because Mitsu is only 16 years old~♪ (with the melody of ‘sentimental journey’) I’m not deceiving it!!” the suspicion was explained (?).

The answer is… M “Of course it’s D2, but still, it’s music.” Y “I wanted to write it but because of Micchi’s pressure I thought too much.” M “I think I said too much.” Y “But Micchi’s is of course a unicycle!” M “Yes! If not for a unicycle, the me I am now wouldn’t be here.” Almost correct?

Compatibility diagnosis RESULT
With some answers trying very hard but in the end the result is that 5 questions are correct. But, expressing Yamaguchi with the character for ‘monkey’ shows Mitsuya’s freedom. (As Yamaguchi said “Doesn’t Micchi look more like a monkey!”, the cameraman commented “I think that Mitsuya is a Japanese monkey and Yamaguchi a monkey.” Somehow the two agreed.) Yamaguchi who suspected age misrepresentation (laugh) accepts the Mitsuya with a young mind big-heartedly, and it became a compatibility diagnosis that shows the composition of these two.

Half guy. [He is half Filipino.]

A live with singing or voice actor, some work where I have to use my voice.

“wagamichi” [my way]. I think it sounds cool (laugh). I want people to look at my way of life and get positive.
